Full Time Preschool
Teacher: This position is for
37 hours per week. Hours are Monday-Friday from 7:30am-3:30pm. Compensation starts at
$10.00/hour and is commensurate with experience.
Minimum Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education and current PA teaching certificate.
All state-mandated clearances are required.
Qualifications: The desired candidate will enjoy teaching three and four year
old children in a dynamic, hands-on classroom. Gentle and consistent classroom management skills
required. Experience and competence with implementing "centers" is required. We are seeking "Out
of the Box" educators who feel most comfortable when students are actively engaged in hands-on learning.
This is NOT a childcare position. It is a teaching position. Qualified applicants
will be flexible and capable at supporting different learning styles with the goal of fostering student community and independence.

Teacher/Group Supervisor for After School Program: This position is for ~37 hours per week. Tentative schedule is Monday-Friday from 9:00am to 5:30pm.
Compensation ranges between $7.50 and $10.00/hour depending on degree, certifications, references, and experience.
Minimum Requirements: A Child Development Associate (CDA), Associate's Degree in Early childhood
or Elementary Education, or Graduation from the Bedford High School Child Development Program. **Applicants may be considered
for a position without the CDA but will be required to sign a two year employment contract.
Qualifications: The desired applicant will have a strong affinity
for and understanding of creative and intuitive-based teaching methodologies. Experience and competence with implementing
“centers” is a major plus! We are seeking highly motivated, creative, and independent people who
feel most comfortable when students are actively engaged in hands-on learning and who can take charge. This is NOT a
childcare position. It is a teaching position. Qualified applicants will be flexible and have a
natural affinity for children. Candidates will be versatile and independent--able to "jump in and get started"
in our dynamic preschool and after school programs. Artistic and musical ability are a big PLUS! Certified
applicants will take precedence over other applicants. Flexibility and a smile are required! We
offer reimbursement for required clearances if you don't already have them or if they have expired. This is a start-up
position with great opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in private education.

Substitute Teachers: This position is on an as needed basis. Substitutes will be compensated at a rate of $10.00
per hour.
